Background Check Forms

A Message from B.E.A. President Nancy Hoelzen:
The recent background check papers some members received are necessary to fill out.  The same company who did the checks last year is being used.  The background check is needed each time you renew your certificate.

BEA Sweatshirts Order Form

The BEA logo will be on the front of the sweatshirts.    

Hoodies are  S-XL $18, 2X $20, 3X $21 Crew necks are S-XL $12, 2X $14, 3X $15

The print will be white and may not show up very well on lighter colored sweatshirts.

Orders will be taken until March 25th

Checks should be made out to Riverview Designs

March 21st- FMLA Class by Iowa Labor Center 8 a.m. to Noon

Lunch provided and March meeting to be held after the class with election of officers

April 13th- Council Meeting- 6 p.m. at the Machinist Hall

May 9th- Labor Center Class on Collective Bargaining

8 a.m. to Noon- Lunch provided and Council meeting following class

June 8th- Council Meeting- 6 p.m. at the Machinist Hall

July 13th- Council Meeting- 6 p.m. at the Machinist Hall

August 10th- Council Meeting- 6 p.m. at the Machinist Hall

September 7th- Annual DHCLC Labor Day Picnic at 40 & 8 Park in Burlington

4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

October 17th- Iowa Labor Center Stewards Class- 8 a.m. to Noon

Iowa State Education Association (ISEA) is sponsoring Graduate level classes. 

All classes are self study and instructor guided which may be taken for graduate credit or for standard license renewal credit (Iowa).
