As we all know by now, the legislation passed. We are working with ISEA to develop a plan for moving forward. I will release information to you as soon as it is available. I wish I could say the assault on teachers is over, but there is talk of legislation to change IPERS. Attend the forum Saturday, West Burlington City Hall, 9 AM, and let Mr. Greene and Mr. Cohoon know how you feel about their votes and the possibility of changes to IPERS. I know the power of doing this. I attended the forum at Donnellson last weekend and Mr. Heaton (R) was on the fence about the legislation but listened to his constituents and voted against it.
